Growing almonds requires large volumes of water. Due to the recent serious drought situation, as well as the drastic increase in water costs, in CA almond production has been severely affected.<br \/>\nIn addition to drought and high temperature issues Skeepon also addresses salt damage, which is also a big problem in CA.
