70th Anniversary Commemorative Conference of the JA Tottori Prefecture Youth Federation

On March 9th Sasahara visited Tottori prefecture to present at the 70th Anniversary Commemorative Conference of the JA Tottori Prefecture Youth Federation, consisting of JA Staffs and local producers.

Tottori Prefecture is a major producer of green onions and pears, and the region has a high awareness of issues related to heat and drought. During the Q&A session after the lecture, we received many questions about Skeepon, showcasing the high level of interest in heat and drought countermeasures.

At the social gathering, we were informed about last year’s tough situation, such as the decrease in green onion yields and the possibility of needing to shift planting times due to the high temperature.

This lecture provided an opportunity for us to connect with agricultural stakeholders in Tottori for the first time. This season, we intend to provide support while closely monitoring the local cultivation conditions.
