Skeepon: Plant protection against heat, drought, and salinity stress.

Developed from fundamental research at RIKEN, Japan’s premier national research institute, Skeepon uses acetic acid — the natural compound found in vinegar — to unlock plants’ innate drought and heat tolerance. Just spray: it helps prevent heat-induced wilting and yield loss while cutting water use and costs. Safe for people, gentle on the planet.

Heat and Drought Stress Tolerance Trial

We compared plants’ stress tolerance under harsh conditions — 108–117°F (42–47°C), 10% humidity, and three days of continuous light exposure. While untreated plants wilted severely, those treated with Skeepon retained firm, hydrated leaves.

  • Temperature 108–117°F (42–47°C)
  • Humidity 10%
  • Lighting 24 h × 3 days

TRACTION

Ac-Planta's technology is advancing from validation to deployment. Sales are already underway in the U.S. and Uganda. Across North America, South America, Africa, and Australia — the regions most exposed to drought and heat — we run field trials on the ground and scale into each market as results prove out. Backed by fundamental research, we're partnering with the world to make ”Living with Climate Change” a reality.

Japan

Since domestic sales began in 2019, over 10,000 liters of Skeepon have been sold, mainly to farmers. It is available through JA and distributors nationwide, with the range of target crops expanding through collaboration with research institutes and farms of all sizes.

South Korea

Building a solid sales track record as our second market after Japan.

United States

California: Sales for tomato growers began in 2024 through a local distributor. In partnership with local research institutes and farmers, trials are underway on vegetables as well as trees.

United States

Conducting large-scale field trials on corn, soybeans, potatoes, and more.

Uganda

Signed an MOU with the Government of Uganda in 2025 to bring the product to market, with sales beginning July 2026.
